Youth Athletic Training
The edge is built in the off-season. This is where champions are made.
Football. Basketball. Soccer. The athletes who rise above their competition are not simply the most talented — they are the most prepared. Coach Darrell works with youth and college athletes aged 12 through 18 and beyond, delivering off-season training programs that develop the physical capacity, mental resilience, and position-specific performance that coaches and scouts notice.
The Science Behind the Edge
Most youth training programs treat all athletes the same. Coach Darrell does not. He trains fast-twitch and slow-twitch muscle fibers differently — because a wide receiver and a midfielder require different physical profiles. Understanding which system to develop, and when, is what separates a good trainer from a great one.
What Coach Darrell Develops
Speed & Power
Fast-twitch muscle fiber training for explosive starts, cuts, and acceleration specific to the athlete’s sport and position.
Endurance & Stamina
Slow-twitch muscle development for sustained performance across full games and tournaments — the athlete who finishes stronger than they started.
Mental Resilience
Attitude, discipline, and drive come before performance. Coach Darrell builds the competitor’s mindset from the ground up.
For Parents
Parents are the driving force behind every young athlete. Coach Darrell keeps parents informed and involved. Initial consultation includes the parent. Programs are built with your athlete’s full picture in mind — sport, position, age, season, school schedule, and long-term goals. Coach Darrell also coordinates with existing coaches and sports medicine professionals when appropriate.
Training Tiers
Youth programs mirror the adult tier structure — Foundation (12 weeks), Resilient (24 weeks), and Legacy (48 weeks). Pricing is discussed during your free consultation.
